The Journey Through Hell..


In the darkness, the world below;
Who is a friend, he doesn't know.

Descending the stairs, into the abyss;
Feeling cold, his love he starts to miss.

Surrounded by ghosts and wandering souls;
He stops in front of a toll.

A three-headed hound blocks his way;
Herding the souls gone astray.

The pact with Hades, having failed;
He saw his wife in a coffin, pale.

Hades' cap of invisibility, from Perseus inherited;
The 3 judges he passed, undetected.

With the memories of his love providing the fuel;
He prepared for the final duel.

As he sprung up to decapitate the God;
Passing through his stomach was a shiny black sword.

Besides his wife, he woke up on his bed;
And realized she was never dead...

Sitting by the bay, Pondering under the moonlight. Thoughts drifting away, In the darkness of night.. The sand glittering like gold, Sapphirey river besides. The hand I wanted to hold, Was Missing by my side. And so I sat thinking, Why does it have to be so hard? Why does it have to be so complicated? Why does it have to be so complicated... Without the touch of her hands, The one that keeps me warm. It felt so cold, cold as sand, My feelings in a storm. Walking towards the water, Regretting what I did.. Was it worth the bother, The secrets that we hid. And so I walked thinking, Why does it have to be so hard? Why does it have to be so complicated? Why does it have to be so complicated...
