When Love is Life

In anticipation of Valentine's Day.. here are a few lines on a feeling called Love <3

You are the shining light in my dull life
The flame on my candle.
The rays of my sun.
The bright stars in my dark galaxy.

You are the beats to my heart.
The warm blood in my cold veins.
The wind blowing and making sounds with my chime.

You are the brains to my nervous system.
The spine to my courage.
The words to my book.

You are like food, water and air in my life.

When you are sad, it's as if the candles flames are gonna blow off..
As if the sky will go pitch black..
As if my heart stops beating..

Sitting by the bay, Pondering under the moonlight. Thoughts drifting away, In the darkness of night.. The sand glittering like gold, Sapphirey river besides. The hand I wanted to hold, Was Missing by my side. And so I sat thinking, Why does it have to be so hard? Why does it have to be so complicated? Why does it have to be so complicated... Without the touch of her hands, The one that keeps me warm. It felt so cold, cold as sand, My feelings in a storm. Walking towards the water, Regretting what I did.. Was it worth the bother, The secrets that we hid. And so I walked thinking, Why does it have to be so hard? Why does it have to be so complicated? Why does it have to be so complicated...
