Balance of Life



Life is a journey of imperfect beings seeking perfection

Some decisions good, some bad which help you stay sane or go mad

Normal is only normal because there are things abnormal


Life is precious only because of death

It's riddled with ups and downs which helps distinguish smiles from frowns

It's the bitter sorrow of a broken toy which enhances the value of joy


Life is complete without any cheats

The real value of things you bought are realized in conditions draught

The warmth of the heat is best felt when you are chilled in sleet


Mortality is the catalyst - time is valued because it runs out

For what is a perfect world if you don't know imperfection

The yang in the yin is what makes it everythin'


The journey of perfection ends with this paradoxical epiphany of balance

Sitting by the bay, Pondering under the moonlight. Thoughts drifting away, In the darkness of night.. The sand glittering like gold, Sapphirey river besides. The hand I wanted to hold, Was Missing by my side. And so I sat thinking, Why does it have to be so hard? Why does it have to be so complicated? Why does it have to be so complicated... Without the touch of her hands, The one that keeps me warm. It felt so cold, cold as sand, My feelings in a storm. Walking towards the water, Regretting what I did.. Was it worth the bother, The secrets that we hid. And so I walked thinking, Why does it have to be so hard? Why does it have to be so complicated? Why does it have to be so complicated...
